Helping People Find the Right Supports — Without the Confusion

Thrive Access is a community navigation initiative led by Thrive Navigation Foundation that helps individuals better understand and connect to existing services across Edmonton.

Many people know that supports exist but still struggle to navigate the system.

Common questions include:

    •    Where do I start?
    •    Am I eligible?
    •    What documents do I need?
    •    How do I move from one service
to another?

As a result, people often fall through the cracks — not because services don’t exist, but because systems are complex and information is fragmented.

Thrive Access works to close this gap by providing clear pathways, trusted information, and navigation support that helps individuals connect to housing, health care, shelters, food programs, and community services with confidence.

What Thrive Access Does

  • Centralized directory of Edmonton-based services
  • Highlight culturally responsive and Black-led organizations
  • Step-by-step pathways for housing, food, youth, newcomer services, and more
  • Optional follow-up support with consent

What Thrive Access Does Not Do

  • Provide direct services or case management
  • Offer crisis response or emergency intervention
  • Guarantee access to any specific program
  • Replace existing community services

Community Navigation & Service Coordination Symposium

This gathering will bring together service providers, community organizations, and partners to share information, identify gaps, and explore ways to make it easier for individuals to navigate existing supports.
